Location

Pirijan (or Pirjahan) is situated on the altitude of 1210-1350 m above the sea, 3 km southwest of Alghuli, on a slope at a distance of 2 km of the Hakari River.

Its historical name is uncertain. Broken khachkars fastened into the entrance of one of the village houses, are not inscribed. However, ornaments of the crosses are characteristic of the IX-XI cent.
