In 2011, as a last memory of the material culture of the Armenians of Shidan, one could see the remains of the cemetery at the north-eastern extremity of the village, at an altitude of 1,699 metres (N 38°15°47.20°°; E 044°41°18.06°°). The graves were all overthrown and robbed; about ten crude grave slabs were scattered here and there.
