Description

Another vaulted church, or simply Surb (Saint or Holy, sacred) as the Armenians called it, or ‘Pir’ (=Saint or Holy) - as it was called in Kurdish or Azerbaijanian, was situated in the vicinity of this village, at the road leading from Aghdam to Martakert. This church was also built of coarse stone. The semicircular altar apse was made in the eastern wall.
