Location

On the right bank of the river Parvana, a kilometre and a half south-west of Khorenia the ruins of the historical village of Karnet are located.

Historical Introduction
1595 y․

The earliest written source bearing reference to it is the Ottoman tax list of 1595, in which it is mentioned as a place free from rayas and paying 2,500 akches to the state.
