A tombstone fastened into the southern facade of the church read:
“HERE RESTS PAGHTASSAR.”

It seems that the same tomb-stone with the inscription: «ԱՅՍ Է ՀԱՆԳԻՍՏ ՊԱՂՏԱՍԱՐ ԻՇԽԱՆԻՆ ... ԹՎՆ ՋԿԷ»: "Here rests prince Paghtasar" is mentioned by S. Khanzadian in the above-mentioned article.
