In the late 19th century, the pilgrimage site of Vosketel, represented “A small chapel of a wooden roof. No records concerning it are available: people remember a legend according to which a golden-haired virgin once suffered martyrdom in this grave reposes.” In 1980 only some vestiges reminded of the existence of the sanctuary: instead, a small cross-stone dating from the 9th to 10th centuries could be found there.
