Location

The ruins of this village site extend 2 kilometres north-east of Gogashen.

Historical Introduction
1944 y․

The village remained prospering until the banishment of Turkish Meskhetians in 1944.

1595 y․

As reported by the Ottoman tax list of 1595, Dankal did not have rayas in its population and paid 2,000 akches to the State Treasury.

It had 185 residents in 1914.
