St. Khach Church

As attested by a record of 1856, in the second half of the 19th century, the old parochial church of the village was “...in a state of decrepitude and on the verge of collapse so that the common Armenians wish to repair it with their own means...” It is interesting to note that beginning with 1857, only Sourb Khach is mentioned as serving the parish of Khando. It represents a stone building of a wooden roof which stood semi-ruined and extremely dilapidated as of 2006. In the south of the sanctuary, an Armenian cemetery extends.
