The village site of Ab (Ablar) is situated 3 kilometres north-east of Kulikam.

Historical Introduction
1595 y․

One of the earliest written sources bearing reference to this medieval village is the Turkish tax list of 1595, which mentions it as comprising no rayas in its population and paying a state tax of 2,500 akches.
