The western facade of this monument is engraved with a five-line inscription:
ՆՈՐՈՔԵՑԱՒ Ս(ՈՒՐ)Բ ԵԿԵ|ՂԵՑԻՍ ՀԱՅՈՑ ՅԱՇ|ԽԱՏՈՒԹԵ(ԱՄ)Բ ՀԱՍԱՐԱ|ԿՈՒԹԵԱՆ ՁԵՌԱՄ|ԲՆ ՅԱԿՈԲ Ք(Ա)Հ(Ա)Ն(ԱՅ)Ի ՄԻՔԷԼԵ(Ա)ՆՑ, 1869: Transl.: This holy Armenian church was reconstructed by Priest Hakob Mikeliants through the means of the [local] people. 1869.
