The bridge of Jerghatsadzor extends over the river Karkar, a kilometre west of Shosh Village, Askeran District, Republic of Artsakh (RMK), at an altitude of 885 metres above sea level.

Architectural Description

Except for the cornerstones of its vault, its other parts are built of undressed stone and mortar. The arch of the bridge has a double row of stonework to be able to bear the weight of its massive vault. Span length: 8.07 metres; passage width: 3.06 metres; height above water level: 5.75 metres.
