Historical Introduction

The village town of Mezire was situated in Kharberd District, Kharberd Province. The available sources do not report any information regarding the activity of the local printing-house: it is only known that the pupils of the Central National School of Mezire published the “Nor Garun” (“New Spring,” about 1903 to 1908) and the “Tzopats Artziv” (“Eagle of Tzopk,” 1908 to 1914) newspapers, the first of which was in hectographic printing.
