Fortunately, its 12-line inscription is mostly preserved intact, being easy to read:
Թվ(ին) ՉԻԱ (1272) էր, իշ|խանութե(ան) աթապ|ակ Ս(ա)դունին, ե|ս` Հ(ա)սան, թոռն ակ|անջակաղնեցի, | ամուսին իմ` Խո|շաք, դուստ|(ր) ...ա կանկնեցաք զխ(ա)չս և (մա)|(տու)ցաք ընծաիւք..., | [մենք] և եղբարքս ս(ա)հմ(անեցին ի) | տաւնի վ(ա)րդավ(ա)ռին Զ (6) ...: Transl.: In the year 721 (1272), under Atabek Sadun, my spouse Khoshak, the daughter of... and I, Hasan, the grandson of a person from Akanjakaghin, erected this cross and gave gifts... the brethren and we decided that divine service should be held during the feast of Vardavar for 6...
