In a press publication of 1911, parish priest Bagrat Sukiassiants and verger Hovhannes Harutiunian expressed their gratitude to Tiflis merchant Gevorg Chilingariants, who had donated 34,5 arshins (= 0.711 m. = 2 ft. 4 in.) of velvet cloth, costing 67 roubles 50 kopecks, for the church curtain.
