3. Engraved on a tombstone, lying near the southern wall of the church, 17 lines:
Translated from Georgian: Darcho rests in eternal peace beneath this gravestone. He died a sudden death … the builder of this church … Giorgi’s daughter, Sargis. May those who see it remember us in their prayers. 1 February 1812.
